As a Pilates instructor, and as a person, Leanne is truly one-of-a-kind. I attended her classes at Club H in NYC for three years while attending law school in the area. I’ve taken Leanne’s Pilates class at Club H Fitness. SHE GIVES THE MOST ACCURATE DESCRIPTION THAT I’VE HEARD OF HOW TO ENGAGE YOUR MUSCLES PROPERLY. The result is that the workout does actually feel different than any abdominal exercises you do in a different class. Never having done Pilates before entering Leanne’s class for the first time in February 2009, I was a bit concerned as to how well I would do. LEANNE MADE ME FEEL COMPLETELY COMFORTABLE AS SHE DOES ALL OF HER STUDENTS. SHE HAS AN AMAZING ABILITY TO RUN A FULL CLASS AND AT THE SAME TIME DEVOTE SPECIFIC ATTENTION TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS. Attending class twice a week, I quickly advanced to an intermediate level and really enjoy the benefits of Pilates and how it complements other areas of my workout routine.

Leanne can expertly teach a class filled with multiple levels at the same time with everyone feeling like it’s the perfect class for them. Leanne is a fantastic Pilates instructor and I always look forward to her classes. When I first joined the class I was new to the city, the gym and Pilates, and was a bit unsure of how things worked. However, Leanne was so welcoming she put me at ease straight away and I felt completely comfortable.
At the beginning of each class Leanne always asks the students about their bodies and will give advice on how to modify if required. Throughout the class she continuously checks each student to ensure they are implementing the moves correctly and provides lots of individual attention so you know that your body is in safe hands.
Leanne is very approachable and is always available after class to answer questions or offer advice. She is extremely friendly and ensures that everyone, working at all levels, benefits from her class. Since starting Pilates I have noticed significant improvements in my body. I am much stronger, more toned and flexible. I suffer with lower back pain and Pilates has been great in helping me build up my core muscles to relive some of the tension build up.
